I don’t really understand the link between the pictures and and the poems, besides I don’t even understand the order the poems are in, themselves. But individually they were beautiful and reflective, I didn’t vibe with any of them in particular though.

A pretty read (!)
Photos and titles are fitting :,) I can only connect with the words in fragments but such are books of this nature
Sick

Side note fetus four picked up the book only to read aloud the page with just "the bubbles are your friends" written on it so that's what my family thinks of my reading life

And so goes the oldest refrain of my heart- "I want, I want, I want" Apparently, I am a very greedy person. So be it. i'd probably sell my soul to read this book.

This didn’t sit all that well with me. I couldn’t connect with it at all - and usually, I become “attached” to poetry if you get what I mean

4.5 stars

Not my cup of tea. Wasn’t bad, but I wanted to skim so bad while reading this.

But who knows? You may like it.

This is just beautiful.

The Day You Read This is my favorite poem of all time.

I stumbled into this book while watching a bookhaul of one of the booktubers over at Youtube and after hearing what it was about, I kept it at the back of my mind for a long time and once I came across it again, I decided that I need to read it. And I'm happy that I did, because I found it very touching.

Basically I Wrote This For You is a collection of photographs and short stories/thoughts about love, loss, happiness and other feelings related to human life and emotions. The individual segments of text are accompanied by photographs - some more fitting to the text than others. Though I found some of the photographs really beautiful, it is really the words that excel in this book (there's a version available with only the words not the photos at both Amazon and Book Depository). In general, this book is very difficult to review because I feel like everyone takes something else out of it, but all I can say is that I was really touched by it and really did end up crying while reading some of the segments of the book.

“If there’s one thing I hate, it’s not knowing what’s wrong with someone and all you want to do is make them feel better.”
That's a quote from the book that I related to the most. Also, what amazed me was the fact that it told an entire story without adding extra things to build it up (like setting, date, etc.) and you got the entire story and it was great!
(there were very few things that I didn't understand but they were still nice to read nonetheless)
Also, amazing photographs!! Idk what to say
