I couldn't find it in myself to care about anything in this book for a second.

Hollyn is such a sweet main character and even if she is a bit boring, I liked reading about her! Jasper, on the other hand, is just really unlikeable — he keeps complaining that noone's supporting his acting dreams (and I wouldn't either) and that everyone gives him shit for not standing on his own two feet in any way (they should) and honestly, Hollyn deserves better.

Their story was just a bit too mundane for my taste, nothing that really stood out, it sounds like a story that could happen to any of my friends and not in the interesting way.

Adults with anxiety, lots of improv, cute romance

Pretty good writing. Sometimes felt like the characters were a little too juvenile for their age, but overall I enjoyed it.

This moved a bit slower than I was expecting, but ultimately thought this slow burn, fake dating, friends to lovers story was really good. Tackles vulnerable topics, great character development, and really great spice (the video room, THE MARKER SCENE - - omg I cannot 😮‍💨🥵). Overall I really liked this one and will definitely be reading Roni’s other books.

I absolutely adore this book. This is my second time actually reviewing a book. I would have read it in 1-2 days but I purposely slowed down and actually read 80% and then started over so I could go back to points that I had not paid attention to.

The characters are unique and fun to read. I love the improv angle - first book I've read where that's a MC job. I love the NOLA setting, and how each MC had so much self doubt and challenging childhoods they had to overcome. I also didn't know much about Tourettes which the author does a great job of explaining. I also love that therapy is just a given in the MC's life and not something that is a new addition.

This book is lot steamier than I would have guessed when I started. Do bear that in mind!
