The crowd laughed as he walked across the stage, saying whatever came to mind. He thrived on their smiles and their chuckles. The funny exuded from him and he never felt more at home than he did here performing theater. Well, almost home. Home was actually her sitting there in the front row.
Yes and I Love You is a romcom following Hollyn and Jasper. Hollyn is a writer letting her readers know about the best shows and the best entertainment in New Orleans, while Jasper is an improv comedian trying to catch his big break.
This was such a fun read. I loved all the comedy and the sketches… some events making me laugh out loud. The chemistry between Hollyn and Jasper was great and loved the fake dating aspect. I also loved seeing Hollyn overcome her fears and really embrace who she was as a person. The middle dragged a bit for me and took a slightly weird turn that I wasn’t fully on board with, but still had a good time with this one!
If you love fake dating, workplace romance, improv shows (think Whose Line Is It Anyway), and a feel good read… then I’d recommend this one!
