I wasn't ready for this book and all the trauma, the fear, the obsession. Griffin is such a tortured character, it's possible to have a grasp of his situation in the previous book but nothing to truly see the dimension of it.

Griffin's years of training affected him at the deepest level, he's obsessed with his tattoo and maintaining the perfect balance of sin in his body, he's always calculating, doing statistics, controlling himself, his reactions, his actions to ensure the perfect balance - however, all of this crumbled up with his meeting with Lilo. Forced to work with her while investigating who portrays wrong information about the Deadly Seven, Griffin will have to get used to having his balance ruined and accept the effect his mate has on him and all the good she can bring him.

Lilo is an investigative journalist who decided to research Cardinal City's famous vigilantes / now heroes, altruist, smart she's a great journalist who tries to survive in men's world while recovering from her toxin relationship with her colleague who steels all the best stories each time he can. After a first disastrous meeting with Griffin, Lilo realizes that she cannot stop thinking about him, wanting to know more about him.
But between the new Syndicates' schemes and her past, Griffin and Lilo will have to face many hardships to be together.

I loved that book, Greed is so tortured, it was sad but I love how Lilo counterbalanced him and give him all the happiness he needs in his life. All these brothers and sisters are so amazing, this whole series is just something exceptional to read !!

Doing this read - along has been great. I wanted to read this series when I saw it but this was the push I needed to binge it.
I love Griffin’s personality and the chaos Lili evoked in him. Serves him right for doubting Evan’s words 😅.
I really liked Lilo but she was could’ve figure out sooner who he was since she had a board of Greed and everything plus the clues were not subtle.
I would prefer for Griffin to reveal himself a bit sooner, sort of like Even did but I had a great time with this book and I read/ listen in one sitting.
Wrath has been “teased” since Envy so I’m very looking forward to it.

Although I really enjoyed Sinner and Envy, Greed hit close to me. Having Griffin be sensitive to his surroundings and touch are similar to my own struggles. It’s a type of anxiety that I fight daily. Having a husband who understands my boundaries, yet knows when I want touch, I’m all in. Lana is a genius weaving each sibling to the big picture and I can’t wait to dive into Wrath!

So first and most importantly, Griff is my favorite out of all the members of the Deadly Seven. I absolutely love him! He has the super sexy geek vibe going that I love!

Griffin has horrors in is past that even his family is unaware of, as a result he is religious with maintaining balance with his sin of greed. Lilo has her own issues thanks to her family, but somehow has never let that change her. Griffin & Lilo run into each other (literary), causing their paths to become intwined.

I love this story & as I said before, Griff is my favorite of the family. This series is so different in its concept and I absolutely love it! If you love superheroes then this is the series for you. Definitely a must read
