Ooohhh what a beautiful and lovely story of magic, betrayal and love. So much like a tragic ballet it was perfect. Better than I was expecting and the ending wrapping up nearly had me rioting- I wanted more of Marie and odiles story. I’m so excited to get illumicrates edition I will want to re read this

Immersive scene-setting, interesting magic system, interestingly flawed characters. I enjoy a good retelling, and this one hit the spot. I was ready to read a book 2, but it wrapped up neatly in the end (maybe a little too suddenly, but that’s alright).
