Loved, loved, loved this book ! The characters are adorable, I rooted for them all along. I loved how they all evolved in their own way, how their relationship developed, etc. The writing style is crystal clear and enjoyable. I loved the fact that the author lets us know (or think...) that they will both die at the end, but he manages to keep the suspense until the last minute. It kept me on my toes the whole time, wondering if and how things would unfold, hoping they would beat the prophecy.
The book also touches on the philosophical aspects of our personal relationship with death, it made me wonder how I would react to such news, if such a technology is desirable in our society, and what its implications might be, etc... Really enjoyable experience, I would highly recommend !
The only thing I regret is that it is a little to predictable and sometimes a little forced - I'm not talking about the ending but the relationships between the different secondary characters and their respective roles in the story.

If you need a good cry this is the one. I honestly never planned on reading this book but the kindle daily deal made me do it and I’m glad. I really enjoyed this book and thought the plot was really intriguing and had me hooked. I also just loved the way the whole book takes place in the span of one day and just the way the story was formatted. I really liked the alternating perspectives and how you would also get perspectives from the side characters and their interconnected stories. I also just loved the main characters, like Mateo has my heart 🥺
