Honestly enjoyed this one much more than the first in the series. Accidentally pregnancy is such an iffy trope for me because it either is excellent or I hate it, but this was definitely well-done and realistic. I love a book with a secret crush, especially when it's from the MMC, and Red's yearning was so palpable all the way through. The way he put in the work to try to be the best version of himself for Cassidy and little spud? Precious.

So I am in love with this book the characters the plot. The tropes were handled beautifully even down to the chapter titles, which were so cute. I thought I could love nothing more than book one but Red/Chase and Cassidy won me over completely. I binge read this book in 1 day.

little spud! i loved that nickname and i thought this book was so cute! i think cassidy was a little too black cat for me at some points especially for the fact that chase is so good to her even when he feels like he doesn’t deserve her. they are both guarded for important. the book covers important topics that i think gave the characters a depth that was unexpected for such a spicy book!! i loved all the potatoes and how much love there was in the book!
