This wonderful story continues. I admit I was a little leery about the beginning because it started in the 1960's with Claire's present life and was too slow in my opinion, but when it returned to Claire and Jamie's adventures, I felt at ease once again.
On to Voyager for me!

Excellent. This covered a lot of the events leading up to the Battle of Culloden, the final battle of the Jacobite Rising of 1745 led by Charles Stuart. While it covered the initial battle at Prestonpans in detail, Culloden was fairly brief, allowing the author (I hope) to return to it in a later book.
This book was well structured starting in the current time period even though the bulk of the middle of the book was back in 1745.
I loved the plot arc in Paris with Jamie covering for his uncle Jared, a wine/spirits merchant. Lots of interaction with Louis and the French nobility as Charles Stuart jockied for funds to pay for his return to Scotland. Charles' father was in Rome, seeking support from the Pope and the Church.
There was always the tension of any time travel novel of "Can you change the past?" (and what will that do to the future?).
The end of the novel tied of several loose ends.
For people who enjoy well researched historical fiction, it doesn't get much better than this.
