This emotional read is truly one of a kind!! Gunnar is a different type of hero than you usually read in darker romance books and I loved it! He’s not out to aggressively slay Tobias’ demons but more into helping Tobias heal for the future & cope in the now. The character development was yet again fabulous as all of Erin’s MCs character arcs are. The plot was enticing and I cannot wait for the next book in the series and the spin off series!!

I don't like age gaps and I realise more and more that I don't really care about mafia so it wasn't my thing from the start but it was an easy read! Not sure I'll continue with the mafia part of the series, though I'll stay tuned for more Cade and Silas!
