I started an audiobook version of this book narrated by "AI Marcus," an AI reader. The AI reader is terrible. If it were just a flat voice, that would be fine, but it attempts to add emotion to the reading and gets it terribly, terribly wrong. Very uncanny valley. The story seems good, though, so I will perhaps try again with a live narrator or a print version.
