Book so good it made me wanna read classics. It really made me think, "Wow! I should read a some classic English literature next!" A great feat, I must say.

RAAAAAH SO SO GOOD !!!!! I LOVED how Gwen and arts friendship developed and all the wonderful characters. Gabriel was my favorite, there was so much nuance in his character, he felt so incredibly real!!! And the many loveable animals throughout the book 🧡🧡🧡🧡 Bridget is the hot butch all sapphics yearn for and is incredibly charming and swoony!!! The whole story really drew me in and was incredibly satisfying to read. Really looking forward to reading more from lex croucher in the future bc this is everything I wanted it to be and more !!!

Ihan tasapaksu nuorten romaani. Odotin vähän enemmän, mutta mielenkiintonen asetelma ei tuottanutkaan ihan parasta tarinaa. Oikeastaan oisin jopa toivonut, että kirja ois alkanut siitä, mihin se nyt loppu. Lopussa tuli kans tosi yllättäen aika intensiivinen "loppuhuipennus", joka ei mun mielestä sopinut yhtään kirjan muuhun tyyliin. Tulee tavallaan mieleen myös Red, White & Royal Blue, mutta suosittelen kyllä ennemmin sitä kuin tätä.

I was really into this at the start and it was funny throughout but the last act was a bit boring for me. Felt like the book was a little long for how much happened. I liked the characters though and all the romances were cute. Rating is a bit bumped because it’s gay and I need more of these books still.

In a nutshell: WLW & MLM hostility to solidarity, found family, teen royalty, cool lesbian knight, and humor. 

I love a dual POV audiobook, especially when both narrators are excellent what they do. I ended up growing attached to almost all the characters in the end— quite the feat! Author did a great job executing the premise. Everything I could’ve wanted and more tbh. 

Fun romp overall with a happy and hopeful ending :)
