The Queen of nothing is an excellent conclusion to the 3-part Folk of the Air series that takes the reader on a journey through Elfhame. The reader grows a bond with the characters in the story even the odd ones such as Madoc. What I enjoyed about reading the series is that each book build upon the previous one without the storyline becoming superfluous. Furthermore, through the series the reader is able to witness the character of Jude and Carda grow and there are unexpected events that take place in the book that keeps the reader in suspense. I have no complaints after reading this series and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to read a series filled with mystery, murder, romance and mythological creatures such as faeries, trolls, serpents and sprites.

Wow! Fantastic ending. I was so enthralled by the story that I didn't notice it was coming to an end until acknowledgements. I admire Jude's courage, her wit, prudence and mercy more than ever. She is the kind of character I wish to see in novels that promise strong female leads but usually get stuck with sex crazed females. Now Cardan. His character arc was predictable but I loved his journey and the way it happened. My heart already belongs to Kaz (Sorry-not-sorry Inej). Then to Jem Carstairs, Will Herondale and ............... Otherwise Cardan might have been high on my list of book boyfriends. Nevertheless, I can vouch for him. The only thing I didn't like that the book ended too quickly. I was so mad that I wanted to give it three stars out of frustration. Still recommended! A petty sacrifice to see Jude in action.
