First time reading T.M. Logan, and glad I trusted my gut. I absolutely fell in love with this book, the story, the plot, the twists. Trying to work out the clues and who the killer is was all part of the fun. I had several theories and glad one of them was right. I even stayed up until 3 am to read a huge chunk of this because I couldn't put it down.
I can't believe I read most of this in two days

The best T M Logan yet!! I have listened to two of his other books (although it was only upon reading this that
I realised he was a he!) and this is definitely the best of them. Our main character is the wonderful, powerful and determined Ellen, who is handed a stranger's baby on the train into Marylebone to hold for a minute, not expecting it to totally upend her world. The mysterious mother disappears at the next stop leaving the gorgeous baby Mia with Ellen. She is left with a note not to trust anyone, even the police. What would you do?
It's fair to say that I don't think I would be as courageous as Ellen. She is brave, sometimes to the point of stupidity but it doesn't stop you loving her as a character. This is a proper page-turner and makes you want to stay up super late reading. You are kept on your toes for a long time but I guessed the ending at about 70% and spent the remainder of the book wanting to scream at Ellen that she couldn't trust XXXX! That's the only thing that stops it being 5 stars but it's also a very believable ending, which sometimes thrillers aren't. Has definitely made me want to read everything else he writes!
