An absolutely incredible book, the only reason it doesn't have a full 5 stars is I'm really attached to hopeful climate narratives that don't highlight things we need to do less of. Unfortunately it does still fall into that narrative, but despite that it is an incredible story

The characters are very distant. It's hard to root for anyone here. And for a book purportedly about hope, the future this book paints is pretty disheartening.
