This was a great addition to the growing genre of cli-fi: original, interesting, dramatic. Beautiful writing.
this book includes good discussions of colonialism and the repetition of history, a central complex f/f relationship, and pretty equal measures of despair and hope.
There was a lot of build-up for the ending, and it ultimately still managed to be shocking and satisfying (though some things were wrapped up a little too conveniently, and I didn’t love the use of monologue to explain every last detail).
Might work well for people who liked The Disaster Tourist by Yun Ko-eun!
