I think this collection is a good one for people (like me) who are 'beginners' in reading poetry. It was just very readable (which sounds like an insult, but isn't) and effective.

A few of my favourite poems in here were Productivity Anxiety, a Lifetime on the Road, Habit and Friendship Nostalgia.

This book is all about self-love, but it does it in a way were it’s not forced. I think every women should read this at least once. I really enjoyed towards the end how Rupi crafted her cultured and how poc are treated. As a poc myself I related to the things she mentioned.

SO GOOD SO GOOD!!! very refreshing and evocative, and i feel like a lot of the poems are the types of things that stick with you and make you think more about how you are living. a lot of times i feel like poetry collections are just collections of various poems but the grouping and order of each particular poem created a unique flow.
