i found that certain poems resonated with me, but the majority of the book felt like quotes that could be found on twitter or an instagram post. i resonate with her trauma, and understand what she intended to convey, i just feel as though it lacked depth.

Poésie politique non engagée mais plutôt sociale
L’écriture semble thérapeutique car l’auteure raconte ses différents traumas

I think I'm just too old and picky about my poetry. There were only two or three poems in this collection that I appreciated. I understand that some readers may be drawn to Kaur's simplicity and minimalist use of language, but I liked the illustrations  more than the writing.

A beautifully moving collection of poems about feminism, grief, trauma and self love & discovery.

I think this collection is a good one for people (like me) who are 'beginners' in reading poetry. It was just very readable (which sounds like an insult, but isn't) and effective.

A few of my favourite poems in here were Productivity Anxiety, a Lifetime on the Road, Habit and Friendship Nostalgia.
