Very good! Definitely a little heavier of Kaur’s books that I’ve read so far, but I liked it just as much as the other ones. I will continue to read and be amazed by Kaur’s poetry, and I hope for more books to continue being beautifully written and released to help more readers who need to hear that they are not alone. ❤️

I avoided reading this book for a long time, because I thought it was overhyped. But after reading this poetry, it might be one of my favourite poetry collections. Not all of the poems are great, in my opinion, and some of the pages aren't really poems so much as statements. This being said, Rupi wrote so many things that struck a chord really strongly with me and there were large parts of this book that I couldn't help but meditate on and feel moved by. And isn't that emotional connection the sign of great poetry?
