i couldn't get behind that he killed her father and for that reason it is a 2 star read for me

This book was good, I started it and I could not stop reading it till I had it completed. It was a really rough work day for me the next day.

The FMC was a bit on the submissive side for me as she hated the MMC for no other reason besides that he was a lawyer that went after her father. I know that it is a tough time but she is portrayed as a very smart women and I did not understand why she held such anger toward the MMC at the beginning.
The MMC tried to portray himself as an unfeeling lawyer, but the min that he saw the FMC it all changed. I loved how he fell first and came to her rescue both at the coffee shop and the bar. It made me feel things that I did not know I was into. His protectiveness was such a turn on, and he fell hard and fast for the FMC.
I can not wait to see what the second book has in store because the cliff hanger at the end of book one had me on the edge of my seat

Couldn't get into it, I liked the book at first but then it felt very rushed and nothing really was happening other than them. It just felt a little off and I couldn't really get with the character on this one unfortunately.

Hayden is crazy. A big red-flag. Alphahole. Stalker. Killer. And I’m pretty sure most of his actions are seriously illegal.

DNF at 43%, this was just not a book for me. I could not focus on or get into the story.
