Viele gute Zitate.

"What should we make of this? We shouldn't make anything of it. We should forget it and move on. If it makes it any easier, this author can assure you that there will be no other appearances in this story by giant invisible rabbit spirits."

I was tipped off to read this book in the We Can Be Weirdos podcast. I liked the interview with John Higgs and was intrigued why Dan Schreiber described the book as mind-blowing.
I have since read the book and have to agree with Dan. Some points have been made in the book that shine a completely new light on concepts I didn't think twice about.
Although it takes a while to get to the mind-blowing part, every brick that is being laid along the way, makes it all the more worthwhile.

John Higgs has, with two books, become my favorite living non-fiction author. Between this and Stranger Than We Can Imagine, he's managed to explain the world to me in a clearer and more interesting way than literally anything I've ever come across. This book says it's about a band burning a million pounds; it is actually about everything. Required reading for being a human in the 21st century.
