cecilialau_'s review against another edition
(When it comes to memoirs/autobiographies, as they are personal experiences, I don’t think it’s up for debate (star rating wise) and I only comment on my reading experience.)
It took me ages to read this. I may have picked it up at a point where I wasn’t ready to get stuck into it. The chapters were generally very, very long which I struggle with. However, the writing is good and it flows well and there’s a story to tell. I especially found it gripping and horrifyingly terrible to read about the authors experience with un- and misdiagnosis. Wow. What self-reflections and what a story
