This is a fun and low stakes read with lots of spice. The FMC is a strong plus sized confident woman who knows herself and goes after what she wants, and the MMC is an introspective, socially awkward, deeply sensitive, hot AF bear. What’s not to love? The only reason this isn’t 5 stars for me is I found the story dragged a bit at times. If it was about 50 pages shorter it would have been a perfect spicy read but none the less this is a well written book that I 100% recommend for lovers of this genre.

Boredom and skimming. It was good then it got boring. Not enough dialogue or anything to give the characters depth.

The low rating is due to the audiobook. The female narrator sounded awkward, stilted and robotic most of the times.
This is a romance between Cordelia and a bear shifter Owen. Very insta-lust (then later love) with good smut scenes.
The writing was a bit repetitive, most of the story is Owen saying he is an old bear.
