The first half was so good - interesting, creepy, page-turning - but the action packed second half was hard to get through resulting in a ‘meh’ ending.

There is a constant sense of menace looming over you in this book - the dread and tension is unreal and I was thriving on it! The story is harrowing, horrific, heart pounding and so beautifully told in spite of the content. The author had me questioning so many things, even myself at points throughout this story! Every character was well written and I felt like their individual actions were true to themselves which can often be a bone of contention for me in a story! The storytelling took me back to the writing style of some great classic horrors. Just read it!

Before I go…one last thing - Don’t trust anyone!
