Mickey, an adjunct professor, needs more money to cover her thyroid medication. She gets a job at a neighborhood bar, and soon finds out her hot, grumpy boss, Diego, is also her student. Diego is a little older than Mickey and hasn't experienced love since his wife died five years ago, but the two are irresistibly drawn to one another despite the confusing power dynamics.

I will say I'm tired of "we don't need a condom, I'm on birth control" in books. Fine if you're monogamous and have gotten tested but early on... why??
