The Keeper of Stars was a sweet story with some solid emotional tension, though it didn’t fully hit the mark for me. It took a little while to get going, and while there was some juicy drama, I found myself wanting just a touch more heat or intensity to really draw me in. Still, it had its moments and offered a heartfelt journey that fans of gentler romantic drama might enjoy.

WOW.
Tears fell as I closed The Keeper of Stars to share my thoughts.
This book earns 5 stars for its magnetic pull and deep emotional resonance. The author has masterfully woven an epic love story spanning a lifetime, grounded in the everyday yet transcending the mundane. Every choice and action feels vivid and authentic, causing me to wonder about the inspiration behind Ellie and Jack’s narrative.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys deeply emotional traditional romance. I found this story reminiscent of The Notebook.
A fair warning: the pacing seemed inconsistent. It was slow at times, leaving me to wonder where the story was going to take me next. Then a twist in the middle hooked me, and from that point on I never set the book down until I opened the app to write this review.

Skippable, shallow, going through the motions trying to hit emotional beats and falls flat. Important moments consist of one sentence. Flat, shallow characters. No chemistry, no tension. Missing quotation marks. Sloppy and forgettable.

I was already annoyed because the book could have been such much better based on the back cover premise (which was not entirely accurate), but once I realizedthe lesson was that women should give up insanely incredible career opportunities for an inflexible man I was downright pissed. F* that and f* this book. It could've been an epic love story and it was bleh.
