Justin is super cute and Caroline is just so fierce but broken by her ex, but Justin does his best and wins her and Dylan over.
This one book was one of the least spicy books in the whole series, but I do love how you are able to follow how the whole family just gets all their love stories.

When I say I've never read a book with a main character as swoon-worthy as Justin, I am not lying. I've been patiently waiting for Justin's book for what seems like EVER and he was worth every second. He's sweet, alpha in his own way, and a man of his word. He's patient and caring. He's understanding. Most of all, he doesn't push.

Caroline is sweet mother of one that takes the world on her shoulders...and does it with a smile on her face. She won't let you see she's broken or that she's about to cry. She never expected Justin to be the guy who shows her the world. Most of all, have a family to be by her side.

This Is Forever is everything I expected it to be. It's funny and it's serious. You will cry multiple times. You see a completely different side of Justin then you see in any of the other books from the Something So or This Is series.

The way the Stone family backs up everyone is amazing, even they aren't sure about them. They treat you like you're their own, and that's everything and more.

All the stars

This book needs more than 5 stars. Justin was my favorite. He was sweet, bossy and the love he showed Caroline made my insides all happy. His moments with Dylan were so good. I don't even remember the last book that had me crying over happy/sweet moments like this.

I don’t understand the high scores for this book. The writing is extremely choppy and sometimes the jump for one sentence to another doesn’t even make sense because the action from the first sentence was just skipped over. And then the grammar and word choices make me think that this isn’t a native English speaker (child’s oncology instead of pediatric or at least children’s). It just reads really awkwardly at times. The author also summarizes the end one one chapter in the beginning of the other chapter but from the opposite pov, which is both repetitive and unnecessary.

So then onto the story itself. This was 100% insta-love from the second they laid eyes on each other. Not usually my cup of tea but I decided to stick with it to see if it got better but it really didn’t. What kind of mother moves their 8yr old into a house with someone they met one week earlier. At least let him set you up at an apartment or something.

I also can’t stand when a mmc exclusively uses a nickname, especially sweetheart. I searched the book and Caroline was used half of the number of times that Justin or Dylan were.

I would skip this one. Some of the authors more recent releases have been better, but I’m not going any further back into her catalog.
