Una gran novela de aventuras y piratas. Cuenta con numerosos y pintorescos personajes que se vuelven entrañables a la vez que fascinantes. Un “must-have” de la literatura.
A great adventure story that gets the heart pumping. A great book for any children or YA readers who like to go on great adventures when they read.

This is why people like pirates, then. I immediately wanted to read Kidnapped, which is how you know.
Not my first Stevenson, but my first of that isn't a poetry collection, and I have no idea how I've never read this story before! (I also don't know why it took me as long as it did to get through it, but that's another thing entirely.) A splendid adventure I'm pleased to have on my shelves, and one I will definitely be sharing with the niblings when they're older. (I know the second-born will probably love Jim threatening to blow out a pirate's brains. He's that kind of kid.)
Side note: I could not stop calling this "Treasure Planet".

A work by the same author of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. This novel is considered a great classic that has inspired many pirate stories (e.g., the ship is the Jolly Roger, and Davy Jones is mentioned). From my point of view, the story seems to slip out of the author's hands, who struggles to keep up with it. The only moment when the characters appear clearly is in the first chapters. I would have appreciated clearer dialogues and more detailed descriptions of the setting and the adventures during the treasure hunt. At a certain point, towards the end, Captain Silver vanishes into thin air without the author justifying or recounting this escape.
