Harley Quinn is one of the most interesting characters in the Murphyverse and it's nice to explore her place in this universe more, even if the story is only average. Not every character in this story is as enjoyable as she is but her relationships with the characters remains a highlight.

i love post j harley so much and it isn’t bc i don’t like harley with j bc i do, he brought smth out of her she never knew she had right. but post j is just so strong and valiant in so many ways. even with experiencing sm losses and having to work under scrutiny bc of who she was before, she still gets shit done all while being a whole mama of five. love her.

So this is a super cute book. I already love Harley Quinn as a character. But this is great… she’s out on her own. Jack Napier/the joker has passed away. Batman/Bruce Wayne is in prison. She is now a single mother to Jack’s twins. And she has a lot of self doubts. Doesn’t know who she is anymore, is she a doctor? A sidekick? A villian? A mom? Well this book really delves deep into what Harley is like after the Joker and Batman are in her life. I absolutely loved it. Such a cute book that made me laugh on a few occasions

I really liked this book. Harley Quinn is one of the most interesting comic characters I have read. The numerous takes on her by different authors are fascinating. This one no less. I like the direction Murphy takes Harley in. I want more.

An interesting take on the Joker's relationship with Harley and how it started.
I actually do like this idea that they met before and she was trying to help him and save him from himself in a way and that their relationship had elements that were genuine. This whole Jack Napier concept is really interesting to me in a way that the Joker alone just ... isn't.
And Harley living with the guilt of having killed him, and then Uncle Bruce, and then hyena babies... there was a lot going on here that was likeable without really having to change too much canon.
I'm usually not all that impressed or interested in Harley as a character and while there was enough going on that was true to her that I don't find appealing, there was enough other stuff I enjoyed the ride.
Makes me honestly even more hyped for the continuation of the batman beyond stuff.

As interesting as White Knight's version of Harley is, I didn't know how well she could carry her own story, but it really works. I like how the origin echoes BTAS where it counts but is mostly a brand new take, and definitely emphasizes how much the character has evolved since that original incarnation. The shift from villain to anti-hero to genuine member of the Bat-Family in several versions at this point is an interesting thing to watch.
