As I was re-reading this book, I realized how and why I enjoyed it the first time I read it, and is enjoyed by many. Agatha Christie is crafty with her words and cunning in creating sneaky characters. This time around, I was more focused on who's next as I flip back to that first page with the rhyme.

With the soldiers going missing or getting broken as each person is killed off, I was imagining it like a spy movie of sorts, the culprit hiding in the walls and behind hidden doors throughout the house xD

my favorite agatha christie i think the story is great, the characters aren’t loveable (even though you feel bad for them) but that’s the whole point, perfect amount of mystery and clues
so so much fun to reread, you’ll catch new details

This was fine. I’m glad I finally read it because it was interesting( I was obviously spoiled for this because of movies and like retellings) but it is a really good twist. I didn’t love how it was revealed though. Also I can’t let it go how problematic the original was. Obviously I’m not going to say what the original title was but it’s disgusting. I would look into it. So with an original title like that some of the racist elements are still in here. As for classics this one was actually very easy to read.
