This wasn't a bad book if you want a book giving a history of the golden age of comic books from a female/feminist point of view, but it's just not for me I guess and I feel like I can admit that I am probably not the target audience for it!

It just feels like the kind of dry, buzz wordy and academic type of non-fiction that does its hardest to suck all of the fun out of the topic and I honestly was not enjoying reading it at all! A rare DNF for me I guess!

A fascinating and thorough history of women in and working in comics in the Golden Age - loved this as an audiobook - I'm pretty sure this is a thesis work and it reads like one, so having an engaging narrator made this a joy to get through!

I was reading it for a class and read-only what I needed for my assignment.
