✨ The Title/Cover Draw:
The cover is just adorable. Plus the buzz about this book just drew me to it. And I am glad I did read it.

This is a lovely, fun, and relevant story. It reminded me of home in so many ways but told from a voice that doesn’t often get the recognition it deserves in the Midwest.

Very wholesome and thoughtful story.
I liked Liz immediately, her relationship with Amanda was cute and I like her friendship with Jordan as well.

I really hate when queer character gets outed and her "friend" Liz is manipulative I just didn't get why is Liz friend with her.
Pop references never age good.
Overall I reccomend it.

At the beginning i felt like this would not really be my type of book, since it started out as a pretty stereotypical teenage drama, but it developed rlly nicely and I ended up being rlly invested!
A lot of people said that this was a cute YA story, and while I definitely agree that it was overall cute, the book deals with some heavy topics, so when you pick it up, prepare yourself for microagressions (racist and homophobic), general homophobia, outing, chronic illnesses, death of parents, panic attacks, insecurities/anxiety
All in all, it was a good read, and even tho I haven‘t been much into high school drama lately, I liked this one.
