An interesting novel and certainly filled with some laugh out loud scenes, suspense, intrigue and drama. Would not classify as horror, although if it happened in real life, it would be.

I would recommend the audiobook but jeez louise, it was 25 hours long and I was ready for it to be a wrap by the 20th hour.

This book was looooong. I'm not averse to long books, but this one felt like it really could have been edited down a bit. The story was interesting, but not amazing. Basically a look at what could happen if there was a world without women and vice versa. Some interesting characters and it was a nice change for one of King's books to be set somewhere outside of Maine.

Okay, sooooooooo I did not know what to expect with this one.. It is pretty much a book around the thought "What would happen if one day all of the women of the world didn't wake up" and ALOT happens. First off I was pleasantly surprised by the feminist message of the whole thing, I love the weird vibes. It reminded me a lot of the chaos that happened in the 'bird box' TV show (although they are very different stories) they just have a similar tone regarding the chaos that people go through when they don't know what is going on.

I dont think the POC rep in this book was well done, but I was happy with the Feminist aspect, there was a little LGB rep that was okay, but its mostly a bunch of cis white people. I though it brought up some interesting questions, it made me a little emotional at times and I REALLY enjoyed the reading experience!
