2022 Review:

I’ve read this book 3 times in the last year, and it gets better with each reread! Anna’s writing is both engaging and beautiful, her dialogue stellar, her characters relatable, and the romances tender and sweet! (I’m Team Benjamin all the way

When You Found Me is an encouraging, enjoyable collection of stories about the princes of Allura. Each story is even better than the one before, building to a beautiful conclusion with Benjamin and Aurora.

Anna Augustine wonderfully portrays characters who are broken and in need of a Savior. I loved how each main character exhibited growth in their story. Each redemption arc was real and showed the wonderful saving grace of God! (Collins was definitely my favorite, though. His arc is so beautiful!)

With beautiful characters, strong relationships, and a wonderful message, I would recommend When You Found Me to all readers! I’m so proud to say my friend wrote such wonderful stories!

My husband and I read this book aloud together and had a lot of fun (we highly recommend using Irish accents). The romances are all very wholesome and chaste, and the stories are easy to digest and fast paced.

Really struggling with how to rate this one. I only finished the first story and decided not to move on. I’m usually not a fan of novellas and I always forget that until the pace is moving at a really fast rate then I remember why I don’t like them. I liked the characters and the story was well done but the pace in novellas is just to quick for my tastes.

When You Found Me was adorable. I’m a simp for the whole family and can’t decide which brother I liked more. I wish the stories had been longer because I really wanted to see more of their character development and relationship development. The use of scripture and Biblical stories really wove well in each of the character's tales. I can't wait to see where Anna goes with her writing (which is beautiful by the way).

These three novellas were fun, unique retellings on familiar biblical stories. Anna's writing style is engaging, and I felt like I was there with the characters.

And the wisdom portrayed through the pages! Deep, profound truths are discovered on every page, that every character experiences. With six characters, you'd think there would be overlap or characters would sound the same, but no - each character has their own voice.

I have to say, while I enjoyed all of the stories, I loved Benjamin and Aurora's story most. Ben's steadfastness and Aurora's determination made for such a sweet story. Marriage of convenience is not my favourite trope, but Anna pulled it off perfectly! Ahh I just love Ben! Where can I get a Ben in real life?!

It was also fun to see the characters growing throughout the series. And I'm part of a book group with Anna that's currently reading WYFM - and I have to say, the additional commentary provided by the characters (looking at you, Collins) through Anna is both hilarious and fits the character so well. It just goes to show how well developed these characters are!

All in all, WYFM was a sweet, lovely read that will delight fans of Melanie Dickerson or Jody Hedlund's YA series.

Bookstagram made me do it! I follow Anna Augustine on Instagram. I think we may have connected through another author's reader group. Well, I kept seeing her posts about this book and others that would share about it. After some time I thought, I have to give this a shot and so I did. And boy am I glad I did!

I was a bit hesitant at first since it's a collection of three novellas and I tend to prefer to read full length novels, but I think each one flowed together so well that it told a well rounded story across all the novellas but each couple was still able to get their time in the spotlight. Nicholas and Della, Collins and Sage, and Benjamin and Aurora all had fantastic stories. I'll say, I think I'm partial to Aurora and Benjamin. I'm a sucker for broody men and marriage of convenience stories. I highly recommend reading this book!
