OH my goodness. It's 1am on Christmas Eve and all I can think about is this book. I am amazed that it started so small and became what it is.
Book 1 to book 3 there is such a big change. I absoloutley enjoyed this trilogy 100%. I feel like the epilogue was a tad rushed but i guess they normally are. I am so happy that Mary got her peace but it broke my heart about shep and kats father. I think Lil is very happy with Alex but I miss reeve. I hope he is doing okay.

Ashes to Ashes is a roller-coaster of suspence and romance.
At first I thought that this novel was just going to be like those lengthy, filler novels because all the good stuff already happened (Rennie's death, the drugged Reeve incident). What I did not expect this to find was a totally whole new perspective bought into this. Mind. Blown.
Characters
Lillia
I love Lillia. She is portrayed as innocent,and "clean" in all the novels, but I feel like she has much more depth to her. She has an obvious OCD for perfection, but she likes getting out of control too. Not only tat, but she wasn't a typical good girl. Her and Reeve, oh! She admit her feelings, and it was cute how she acted on her impulses that were so foreign to her.
Kat
I've always had a soft spot for badasses. Before, Kat's character came off too edgy, as if she was trying to rub her aloofness in everyone's face. Here, she lays back on the sarcasm,and starts using the sass. I love her funny comebacks, and how she acts like a polar opposite character to Lillia, yet still similar.
Mary
I always used to sympathize Mary for her rough past, but I take everything back. In this novel, if you are expecting the soft spoken, and shy Mary, she is gone. She is replaced by this obsessive, vengeance seeking Mary who will stop at nothing to get back at Reeve. Hard. I hate her.
Reeve
I love Reeve. I loved him in book one, I loved him in book two, and I love him in book three. He just seems to be getting better, and better, and better. Reeve's previous cocky, arrogant behavior is pushed back and his love for Lillia is so strong, and deep that you can't help but swoon. I was totally voting for them to hit it off
Plot
The plot started off right where Rennie died, and in the beginning, everything was somber and sad, but quickly, it started picking up pace. I won't lie, some parts of this book annoyed me. The fact that Mary is so vengeance driven seems interesting at first, but then it seems to get out of hand. But Sobhian and Jenny try to save the day but they make Mary seem like she is making too many haste decisions.
EPILOGUE
The epilogue sucks. It's meant to disappoint, and leave everyone questioning. I hated it. It seemed like everything was too rushed and random proposals came out of no where. (I'm talking to you, Alex!). I was so heartbroken. It just caused a whole wave of emotions because it was sort of happy, but horribly sad, and hope-crushing, and frustrating, and sort of anger-inducing, and very very heartbreaking.
I can't say much without giving much away but in conclusion, The Epilogue and the rest of the book leaves you with emotional problems, and slight psychological problems.
Now I know to look around carefully to make sure my dead bff isn't looking at me.

This series wasn't amazing to begin with, but this book really took a turn for the worst. It seems like the authors didn't even know where they were going. To conclude, I wouldn't recommend reading this trilogy. Instead, read one of Han's individual series.

The ending was a little unsatisfying sadly, but most of the book was as enjoyable as the other two, but I do wish the ending was different. Something about it made me feel uneasy. But, still a great trilogy all together.

This book feels much darker than the previous two books. So much hatred, especiallyBut still, I am currently feeling less satisfied with the ending. After going through all those hardship, they all eventually split up? :(
