None of the stories really grabbed me the way I'd hoped but I think that's on me more than the writing. The stories were well written, they just didn't click although No One Will Come Back for Us came closest. It was really disconcerting to read after the beginning of COVID, although it was written in 2017.

Like a modern-written Lovecraft! I enjoyed how different each story was, though still connected world-wise. A nice collection, indeed.

Really enjoyed this collection of short stories.
Great writing style, interesting topics.
Especially liked the centering of female and characters with diverse backgrounds.
Only thing I didn't love were that for some stories, they were so short it was difficult to figure out the rules of the universe we were in/ what exactly was happening. Or the stories were over before I could get into them.
