The summary tells you the last third of the book. Romance was an annoyance to love which was awesome. There's action, some backstabbing and political foolery. Also some consequences from the previous book. Can't wait for the sequel.

Love book 3 as much as I love the other two. The romance that develops between Anhuset and Serovek makes me kick my feet with glee. Their fierce loyalty displayed in this book is a treat and I just really love them. This is my second time reading this series and it still makes me sad reaching the end because I just love these books so much.

4.5/5 - I adore this world and everything that comes with it! The spice is spot on and the action pulls me in even further. I cannot wait for the fourth book to come out! One thing I like most about Draven’s writing is that, even with a long break between book 2 and 3, she does a great job of reminding me of what happened in the previous book without over explaining.

I enjoyed the characters but I feel like I needed a bit more romance. Overall enjoyed her story telling but it moved a bit slow for me. I feel like some of the plot could of developed our characters a bit more.

Love love loved this perfectly balanced, sweet and ferocious couple, the strong FMC and cheeky MMC is my favourite. The plot and action kept it so interesting and just great overall! A couple loose ends that left me unsatisfied but I know there’s another one coming

4.5 - I loved getting another look into Grace Draven's amazing world and characters. Anhuset and Serovek are wonderful. I love their contrasts, their similarity, sarcasm and their relationship.

LOVE the cover, seeing Sev with his head bowed, gorgeous.

We waited a LOONNGG time for this book and I can honestly say I enjoyed it. We saw a glimpse of Brishen and Ildiko ( I remember their names since I re-read the series before getting to the new book) and the struggle after the necromancer magic is real. They suffer for Meggiddo being left behind.

So, Ahn and Sev (shortened due to totally forgetting how to spell their names), this story is of their journey to return Meggiddo to his place with his brothers and how it all unfolds. Its a long journey, I felt like I was with them every bitter moment. Their loves grows of course, and their future ends up tied up nicely with a little bow as only Ms. Draven can do.

It did leave the door open for more, so I hope this series will continue, just not as slowly? This book was supposed to be released in 2017.

I love the world building, the characters, the banter and the action. So I may just re-read master of Crows so I can stay here just a bit longer :)
