An interesting and informative read.

Well organised and well edited, reading about the SOE in their own words really brings home the realities of the war.
Although each section really comes to life, perhaps a little more information at the beginning giving the overall context would've helped with the bigger picture of the story. I suppose this book is probably not aimed at people who know nothing of the topic, but nevertheless felt slightly confused at points. Some maps would also have helped clarify as the geography was not always obvious.

A good book if you want to really picture life during the war but not a deeply detailed overview of events.
