I read a few reviews before I decided on my rating because I felt absolutely insane after reading this. The reviews validated that. Like, huh?! It had the most confusing twist and ending. The timeline made absolutely no sense. 

Cassie.. girl. Be so for real - everyone’s coming in wanting a specific kind of book and for, presumably, YEARS you just decide not to stock those books? And her secret? Dumb. Least fave Freida read; truly disappointed.

I stopped reading this and read other books in between which is surprising cause Freida is known to hook us and keep us hooked without our attention wavering. Yeah it wasn’t the best. So far my worst read by her. It was kind of confusing too. Not in a good way. The twist was alright. The ending was meh.

It was like everybody in that circle was unhinged. And that one character got away with everything at great lengths and for what—to make more unprecedented acts? Oh, a brokenhearted person can do a lot of unexpected things. 

As I almost reached the end, I got way confused who was who, but I settled in my brain that somehow I understood where the story was going. It was not as grippingly twisty as my previous reads, nonetheless, it was a good fast-paced read.

I enjoyed this book but felt that there wasn't a clear ending like most of her books. I enjoyed the overall story, but it didn't capture me like a lot of hers have. For this reason, it's a 3, decent but not the best I've read from her.
