I barely remember it. It was free and I started reading it in a waiting room. Quick finish.
i think it was about a person who dates people who all kind of look the same?

It's a pretty safe bet at this point that every time I pick up one of Freida McFadden's books, I'm in for a wildy unrealistic ride filled with goofy twists and plot holes... and I love her for it. Not everything needs to be deep and dark and serious, and this was another solid work from her despite the need to suspend disbelief as I read. The world could do with a lot more mystery/thriller books that are just there to be a fun ride as opposed to packing as much shock value as possible into each chapter. I didn't really like any of the characters in this one, but that actually kind of lent to the feel of the book and I found I didn't mind it. I got exactly what I was expecting out of this book, in the best possible way.

I would’ve given this 4 stars but then Big Freida threw that curb ball and I was confused for a few chapters trying to piece things together.

Joel got on my nerves because dude why didn’t you tell Cassie from the get go that your last girlfriend died???? Lydia was such a bitch. I definitely didn’t see Anna being a psycho who had previously dated Joel.

Interestingly, this wasn't that horrible. I mean I've already prepared myself to test your patience, since every Freida's character is infuriating, but, surprisingly, it's not. But why does everyone seem like have a beef with every other Freida's books tho they keep reading her own book (including me, but I don't have a beef with them tho, kinda). iykwim. Other than The Coworker and The Crash, this is another book by Freida McFadden with a subtly pleasant ending—not hapy tho, resolute? maybe(?) And that surprised me more than I could have imagined.

The points of view were fragmented, alternating between the first and third person as well as the past and present. However, there are a lot of secrets, and the plot ended magnificently. This is actually a romantic thriller. Also, as always, it was difficult to get there until the twists clicked and makes your head wanted to explode. But the "twists" were spectacular and eventually acceptable tho. And yeah, that makes me enjoyed this more than I should have hoped for.

I could possibly read Suicide Med or Brain Damage after this. Who would've guess🤷🏻‍♀️ Let's just see tho.
