I gave it a generous 2 stars. Only because my sister and I read it on a road trip and we got some good laughs out of it. No, it’s not a comedy. We also found so much of it ridiculous and unbelievable that people could be so naive and uncommunicative in a relationship. The plot was confusing and felt like Frieda was trying so hard to create “red herrings” that it just made it convoluted. She made the women all shallow and vindictive.

it honestly wasn’t that bad the ending just felt extremely rushed and i feel like many of the mystery elements didn’t surprise me. it was intriguing enough though
