The twist was good but confusing. Like once I sat there and really thought about it I was like ohhhh but also the timelines just got really confusing. I almost dnfed but I wanted to know what Cassie was hiding in her apartment. And that was such a let down… it was not as crazy as I assumed I made myself disappointed don’t make assumptions hahaha I was intrigued throughout but also bored at the same time if that makes sense

I just started this book this morning and could not put it down! Frida McFadden never misses when it comes to fast-paced, addictive reads—and this one had me hooked from page one. Cassie and Joel’s relationship pulled me in right away, and just when I thought I knew where things were going… BAM! The twist hit, and I did not see it coming.

Francesca’s looming presence added the perfect amount of tension, and I found myself second-guessing everything (and everyone). It’s the kind of psychological suspense that keeps you flipping pages late into the night.
