Made to Love was a good read. It was sweet, steamy, and honestly funny at points. Trevia and Nyles were made for each other and I loved how the narrators brought these characters to life. The sweet moments between them were sweet and the steamy moments were steaming. Trevia has a scrub ex, so Nyles has to put in some work and have some patience, but it pays off because like I said before, they were made for each other. I truly love this series so far and the friendship and support between the heroines.
My only complaint is that Trevia kept calling her privates Ms. Kitty, and it took me out of the story every single time. She is too grown to be calling it that, but to each their own š«

āMade to Loveā by Alexandria House is a compelling and heartfelt addition to the āLove Afterā series, serving as a beautiful testament to the resilience of the human heart and the transformative power of love. Set against the vibrant backdrop of the spoken word scene, this novel tells the story of Trevia, a woman grappling with the aftermath of a painful breakup. Her resolve to steer clear of men is challenged when she encounters Nyles, a captivating spoken word artist, whose performance at her sisterās club stirs something deep within her.
The narrative expertly captures the initial hesitation and subsequent blossoming of Trevia and Nylesā relationship. Houseās portrayal of Trevia is particularly notable for its authenticity and depth. Sheās not just a character rebounding from a bad breakup; she embodies the journey of healing and rediscovering self-worth. Nyles, on the other hand, is not your typical romantic lead. His patience and understanding as he gradually earns Treviaās trust, coupled with his passion for his art, make him a refreshing and endearing character.
The chemistry between Trevia and Nyles is palpable, elevating the story beyond a simple romance. Their connection is not just physical but emotional and intellectual, making their relationship feel all the more real and significant. The theme of ālove after heartbreakā is explored with a delicate balance of realism and idealism, showing that while the road to recovery can be fraught with challenges, it can also lead to unexpectedly beautiful destinations.
Houseās writing style is fluid and engaging, with a knack for dialogue that captures the essence of each character. The incorporation of the spoken word element adds a unique layer to the story, allowing the charactersā emotions and histories to be expressed in a deeply personal and impactful way.

Men that can use words is attractive. Men that turn stuffy jobs into something sensual is attractive.

Wonderful
This was a beautiful story and after all Trevia went through she deserved would be totally okay if she had shot Wesley is his leg at the least but the story concluded beautifully either way.

It was a quick read that I enjoyed. Probably better on a kindle cause the audiobookās female narrator is irritating to listen to. She couldnāt even say 2pacās name right. Smh it was wild.

Besides trevia second guessing herself in the beginning I actually enjoyed her story because she put herself out there and got her man Nyles. But this man Wesley got on my nerves trying to get her back
