Only got part way through before skipping ahead and doing some speed reading. Good premise but the narration and plot just wasn't quite working for me. But I could see some of my younger teens liking the combination of thriller/romance/smart girl protagonist.

Slightly reminiscent of Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick . Super fun to read. :-)

2.5 really. I don't know. It was quick read with terrorist plots, romance and code breaking, but something didn't quite work. The romance was too fast-moving considering it was between a 17-year-old and the FBI agent who's supposed to be protecting her.

Well, this started out great and then rapidly got worse. However, despite the fact that none of this would ever happen and the insta-love pedolationship, it was still mildly entertaining and I did like Digit. Less and less as the story went on, but still.

I have to give it 2 stars.

Farrah, aka Digit, is a math genius. She tries to hide her skills in order to fit in with the high school crowd. However, when she solves a code that is related to a terrorist attack, she knows she has to step forward and help out. She goes to the FBI who put her undercover and assign her to work with cute, young agent John. They are soon on the run and under tremendous pressure to find the group and prevent andy additional attacks. Digit is glad to be using her brain again and is a bit smitten by John who thinks Fibonacci numbers are kinda sexy when Digit explains them to him. A great tale of action and adventure with a smart female protagonist and a touch of romance to top it off.

Lots of fun and excitement and math; I enjoyed reading it. My one complaint was that Digit spent too much time thinking about the love interest and not about the problems at hand (which would have been more realistic). But it was fast-paced and interesting.

This is one of those books that kind of sucked and was pretty unrealistic, but you couldn't stop reading...
