The story wasn't interesting to me, too slow-paced and lacking in tension.  I listened to this on a whim as T M Logan is a favourite author of someone I follow.  Perhaps another of his novels would work better for me, I'll give him another go.

“Protect our beautiful boy, whatever it takes” - T M Logan 💕

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Stars

I was nervous going into this, as I found a previous book, The Holiday, such a let down. But I enjoyed this more than expected! 😁

I love how straight off the bat, we were questioning everyone and everything thing going on. I was pretty confident that Connor was innocent but didn’t have a Scooby what had happened. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The family were pretty likeable in the sense that they had faith in their son. Harriett was a stand out character, I wish we’d had more of her, she deserves the world. 🥰

I really enjoyed how the plot unraveled in the last few chapters. It wasn’t mind blowing but it all fell into place pretty well. I felt it should’ve all happened sooner, it’s a pretty long book - but as least we had short chapters. 🙏🏻

That was painfully slow, over written and annoyingly descriptive. Plot was mediocre at best. Read the Holiday by the same author instead.

This is my 4th t.m. logan book that I've read. Overall I thought it was tense and fast paced which I enjoyed. Its not one of my favourites of his but i still thinks its worth a solid 4 stars. I am really enjoying t.m. logan as an author and will definitely read more of his work in the future.

I'm a big fan of T.M Logan's books and was thrilled to get this arc!

And wow! What a book!

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It kept me gripped from the beginning, I just had to know what happened!

I did not see the ending coming, I didn’t have a clue who did it and why!

Highly recommend this for thriller lovers.
