Good - solid beach read - nothing too crazy ending wise

Coben writes page turners with twists! Another captivating read. If I need a book to sweep me away for a few hours, I can count on Coben! The main character is a female soldier, and mother, which was a fresh and appreciated perspective from previous books (all other books by him have centered around a man).

Whodunnit woman in jeop with very good red herrings. Setting not as pungent as, say, Lescroart, but protagonist more intriguing and plot devices far more sophisticated.

This book was fine. I think I would have really enjoyed it in high school. None of the characters had any depth and the plot kept getting more and more convoluted until the last 20 pages. I will say that the ending didn’t feel rushed, but nothing was fully explained either.

The beginning of the book felt like when you watch a movie on TV but you miss the first few minutes so you spend the rest of the film playing catch up.

This one might be the best yet - wow that ending really hit me!
