Another amazing book by Harlan Coben!

Holy crap! How does he always get me? I'm a seasoned mystery reader. So good!

This was a very interesting book, it had the similar flavor of all Coben's works. It was twisty and made you think throughout the book until the end when you were surprised by the ending. Maya was a special ops pilot before a tragic mistake that had her kicked out of the military. She is trying to raise her young daughter, deal with the PTSD that she was left with after serving in the war and then her husband is killed and she's there when it happens. Maybe this all is just too much for Maya. She starts to wonder about her sanity when she sees her husband on the nanny cam a few weeks after his funeral. Is someone messing with her or is she losing touch with reality in her grief stricken state.

Coben does a beautiful job of letting the reader feel what Maya feels in her torturous PTSD moments. This adds such a visceral edge to the novel. I found myself having trouble putting this book down, I wanted to know what happened next and figure out the "who dunnit" of this stand alone mystery. I actually had trouble figuring out who was a good guy and who was pulling the bad guy stings in the darkness. I would certainly recommend this book wholeheartedly to anyone but most definatly to fans of Coben, it's another hit!
