Didn’t finish this one.

The ending was not as good as the build up. First half was very gripping and I couldn’t put it down. But the end was a bit of a let down.

I absolutely loved the premise of Fool Me Once—it’s gripping from the very start. The idea of a woman mourning her murdered husband only to see him appear on a nanny cam with their daughter is both chilling and thrilling. I could feel the intensity and confusion radiating from the main character, Maya, in that moment. Coben masterfully keeps the suspense high, layering twists and secrets that unravel in surprising ways. This is a fast-paced, emotionally charged thriller that kept me guessing until the very end.
