After the point in which Silas got the warning from his agent and he decided to not tell Landon about the Sluagh but instead let him go to Ginnungagap for a night of clubbing to relax .... ehh I was side eyeing the story.

Gotta say that isn't Hailey's strong suit to write short story.... they are lackluster at best and this was no exception.

The Soulbound Series is one of my all-time favorite series and worlds I've read in the last five years. When I saw that the author was selling a short story on her website set during Book 3, I bought as soon as I could! And it did not disappoint!

I loved getting to see the events of the book from the eyes of someone outside Patrick and Jono's group! And the romance between Silas and Landon was sweet! I would love to get a long book about them!

RULES OF THE HEART takes place during A CROWN OF IRON & SILVER when the Sluagh are circling the city and it features two new characters, warlock Landon and his incubi roommate Silas. It was a quick read but I loved seeing how both Landon and Silas have been pining for each other until they finally admit their feelings in a fiery night of sex. We even got a quick look at Ginnungagap and Carmen.
