Wow! This book had my emotions all over the place. What a way to end a sequel to leave you wanting more. It seems this author is quite good at that. This book keep me up late reading into the night. I loved the new characters introduced and really enjoyed the different character dynamics and how unique all of the people were. I knew something devastating was coming, much like the last book, but man, I can’t wait to see where Kiva will go from here.

I couldn’t put this series down. I got through all three audiobooks in a weekend. It had just perfect balance of everything. Also Kiva…girl. Get it together! 

These are definitely YA so if you want something more dark and deep - I’d not pick it up. But if you like a fantasy with a little bit of everything and can get past some of the parts left out for the age audience, you’ll enjoy it.
