The first attempt to read this book, few month ago, was a failure.
I stopped within 30 pages and the chapter still remains an issue for me (I will explain below).

I tried again this time with the audiobook and it was a way better experience.

It is not quite an ennemies to lovers but we can relate.
Virgin and awakening FMC
Psychopath MMC
Secret societies (along with mafia vibes)
He falls first

Now I have two issues (big ones):
- the first “spice scene” and how it is treated all along the book.
It is basically a rape and a particularly degrading one, it made me really uncomfortable the first time and still do also because it is romanticized all along the book and no it is not.

- the POV of two characters (one chapter each) that give no information whatsoever. These don’t add anything to the story or the other characters. It adds pages but nothing to the plot.

Nevertheless the narrators are really good. So thanks to them.

⚠️Please take the trigger warnings seriously, no book is worth it. ⚠️

The author of the book did an excellent job in portraying the character of Killian as a psychopath, which was evident from the start of the book. The author's writing skills deserve appreciation for selling it so well.

However, there was a plot twist involving Devlin that left me furious.
After going through so much heartache over Devlin, Glyndon did not deserve to find out that he was not even dead.

The book had many characters, which made it a bit confusing to keep track of them all. Thankfully, the book came with a family chart, which helped me follow the plot.

Overall, the book had enough plot and character development, making it a bearable read. However, the book could have been shorter than its 400 pages.

It’s okay for dark romance but as far as stabby stabby goes there wasn’t enough gore in my personal opinion 😅. Anywho the plot was good. Too many characters to keep up with.

✨God of Malice - Rina Kent ✨

When Glyndon catches the eye of a psychopath stalker she didn’t ask for or wanted. Killian is cold-blooded, an manipulator, incapable of emotion and a monster. A monster that is completely obsessed with Glyndon, something that he has never been able to quite to is quieten his psychopathic urges but she does exactly that for him. Will it cost her everything?

This is definitely what I like in a stalker book. Obsessed mmc, touch her and you die, she is mine vibes and dominating. There is a lot triggers in the one from the start so make sure you check them before you start. This was nice spicy book, I like the way the mmc was portrayed. A complete psychopath which you expect. He is what he is and he’s not apologetic. He is actually portrayed as a psychopath. He also wasn’t the only psychopath in the book there was a few of them and it was interesting to read how they all interacted and how it was passed down as a genetic trait.

Unfortunately I didn’t think much of the mfc she was a tad bland couldn’t love her as much as the mmc. Hated her name too. There was also not much plot it the book other than the spice which isn’t anything wrong with that. I loved the spice but with out it, it would be a long book with nothing to bring it forward. I would of liked to read more stalking he pretty much goes to her in the first few chapters.

Over all though I did enjoy the book! I would recommend it!

You will love this book if you love:
🔹 stalker/psychopath
🔹  unapologetic mmc
🔹 touch her and you die vibes
🔹 spicy (check tw)
🔹non conventional dark college romance
🔹 mafia reference
🔹 standalone
